Following on from the proud Darwin Award family, we have illustrations of some of the
awards, also know as "Kodak Moments".
 | Sometime last month at the Breakers Golf Course in Palm
Beach, the first foursome of the day played together to the 5th hole where one impatient
golfer went ahead of the group. The remaining three, thinking that the impatient golfer
had finished the round and was waiting for them at the nineteenth hole, were not concerned
with his absence. However, after waiting 2 hours and noticing that his car was still in
the parking lot, the threesome notified the Breakers management. The search for the
missing golfer began but only his clubs were found on the seventh hole. Three days later,
a large crocodile was spotted near the seventh hole, but Ole Moses had been an infrequent
course visitor for the past 20 years, and he had always made a hasty retreat whenever a
person approached. Just to be safe, however, the course officials, SPCA, lawyers, citizens
groups, the Mayor, Palm Beach PD and the American Crocodile Association decided it would
put everyone's mind at ease if the crocodile was killed and opened. The photo was taken after the post-mortem.
